About
Avenzo is the online portfolio of Veronica Tedjasukmana, a software developer by profession and a cook by heart residing in Passau, Germany. Writing codes and exploring new technologies are always a pleasure. In addition to professionally trained in programming, designing takes major part of the works. Creative and usable designs are my brands.
Education
I studied Computer Science and gained my Bachelor degree from University of Bina Nusantara in 2002. After around 1 and a half years working as a web developer I continued my study in Hamburg, Germany majoring in Information and Media Technologies. I was graduated in 2006 as Master of Science.
Work History
Directly after graduated from University of Bina Nusantara I was working as a web developer in PT. Menaravisi Commerce, where I delivered various web-based projects such as e-commerce, community portal, and coporate website successfully. My first project, weddingku.com, has become a well-known wedding portal in Indonesia with 90% market share and visited by more than 10.000 people each day (2004 Statistic). During my master study in Germany, I often take a part time job as a web designer and developer.
After gaining my master degree, I joined eBay as a Software Engineer until early 2010. There I have involved in developing and maintaining EDMS, designing and implementing Automated Payment System, as well as various web based and windows applications.
I am currently working at Hewlett Packard as Software Designer responsible in developing HP Photo Center Web Services.
Skills
I work extensively with C#, ASP.NET and PHP as scripting language. HTML, XML, Javascript and VBScript are of course my field of expertise. For database, I have a broad experience with Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL, as well as Microsoft Access and Oracle. I am also skilled in object oriented technologies, such as Java, MDA (Model Driven Architecture), UML, OCL (Object Constraint Language).
As freelancer I work mainly with Open Source Content Management Tools: Mambo, Joomla, and Wordpress.
